Okay i don't say this to brag but just to honestly, transparently tell you of my past week. If you don't want to read it then don't read it, but if you do read it, feel encourged.

I just had the best week of my 16 year existence, the past six days have truly been life changing! I gave me heart away for Christ in a different country that I may never have the chance to go back to. I loved deaf children and orphans who have no clue what true love really is. I used my gifts to build part of the school for the deaf children and in doing all this I was used by God and experienced true worship. This was the best week of my life. I saw God’s creation in the stars, on the earth, and under the sea. I didn’t observe buildings man had made but rather huge mountains created by the hand of God. I swam in natural water that literally glowed in the dark (yeah ask me about that one!). I gazed upon the most beautiful star filled sky I had ever seen in my life. I went down into the ocean to observe God’s creation underwater and was speechless. I loved children whom had been born with great physical and emotional burdens and in doing so I was filled with the hope that Jesus Christ brings to all of us. I experienced a society that was so laid back that they let you share devotions in public schools. I was part of the best missions team I have been privileged to serve with, a team that was dynamic and diverse in so many ways, that in the end our uniqueness brought us unity through the Holy Spirit. God taught me things through  my team i had no clue about. He broke me and grew me into the mold He wanted. I went to Jamaica and it changed my life.

A Beautiful Collision

What's up everyone? Long time no talk, but hey, i've been busy. I'm going to FL very soon and thought i should update before i leave. We had Christmas Eve this past Saturday becuase none of our family will be togeather because of Flordia. Pete got this new David Crowder Band CD but i think i am the one who really likes it, this thing is awesome!

The CD is called "A Collision" and it's packed with awesome songs. I love the concept behind it though, a collision between us and God. The fact that we are both running at each other, trying to stay close, trying to pursue God above everything else, and when we reach each other we just have this amazing, spectuacular encounter with God, "a beautiful collision" as the CD calls it (that's one of the tracks!). Just when i think about what that collision would look like and how it could effect us and how it happens in Worship and service  i get so pumped up and it's just sweet!! The subtitle for the CD is 3 + 4 = 7. 7 is the perfect number used in the Bible, it represents completness. 3 is in representation of the trinity. 4 is just the number humanity gets when you take the trinity (3) out of completeness (7). Pretty sweet if you figure it all out. David Crowder Band explains alot of their CD on their website, you can go and read it if you want (www.DavidCrowderBand.com) but i think he summed it all up in one sentence. When our depravity meets His divinity, it's a beautiful collision.

I got alot of other cool things for Christmas but i think this DCB CD is something pretty sweet, you can go to my myspace and check out my background music, it's one of the tracks from the CD.

I saw King Kong on Monday with Jill and we both liked it alot. It's 3 hours long but you get your money's worth, check it out if you can over break. Remember to wake up early Sunday morning so you can go to church AND open presents! . If you're not doing anything tonight everyone needs to come to the "ID Christmas Spectacular" in the Fellowship Hall at HPBC, it's sure to be sweet.

Well that's it people, props to anyone who read all that. I hope ya'll really enjoy our break and have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

OH MY GOSH

What an amazing birthday weekend!

Okay, Friday was no school so Mackenzie and I went out for breakfest with Mommy and it was sweet. Then Kenz and I hung out till like 2 and then i went to work till 8. Came home, sleep.

Saturday was THE DAY, and it was pretty awesome. Had a sweet breakfest and went to church for Cell Groups and Rake and Football. Bo and I were 3 for 3 in catches, that all resulted in TD's, oh man so much fun... and then afterwards a SURPRISE PARTY for Goose!? Oh man. So that was really awesome and then I'm like, well Bill and Jer and I will go play laser tag... then we drive with Pete ane end up at the Palace for the PISTONS GAME!?!?!?! OMG it was so much fun! We had the best time, and driving home we almost hit a deer which was scary and hilarious.

Sunday i thought it was all done so i went to church and then did HW. Then Jill calls and is like, hey you want to hang out? and i'm like yeah sure got nothing better to do. So i go over and we are like shotting pool in her basement for like 20 minutes and all of a sudden Cameron, Kenz, Brad, and Jer all come out of no where and are like SURPRISE!!! And i'm like OMG another surpise party for GoosE!?!?! I almost couldn't take it... dude it was so cool. I am totally oblivious to everything that happend becuase people pulled three surprises on me today but yah, man this was like the best birthday ever!!! Tomarrow is going to bring the ultimate closuer on any 16 year olds birthday... the license and the drive to school... oh man it'll be just so sweet i can't wait. I love my family and friends so much for throwing all these surpises... oh man it's just sweet.
